Description

We are looking for someone with a broad church music background, who is well acquainted with the worship life in the Church of Sweden and wants to be a part of and develop the music and community life with us.

Your main workplace will be in the Ingatorp-Bellö parish, but some of the work will take place in other parts of the pastorate.

Responsibilities

play at worship services, church ceremonies, and other parish activities
lead choir activities for children and adults
be a resource in confirmation work
plan and participate in the pastorate's work and view it from a holistic perspective

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

has a church musician degree, qualification level C
is positive, outgoing, and feels comfortable in front of large groups as well as in smaller contexts
enjoys both independent work and collaboration
has a driver's license and access to a car
has good computer skills
is a member of the Church of Sweden

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Upon employment, you will need to provide a criminal record extract intended for work with children and youth.

The position is a permanent full-time employment where both day, evening, and weekend work will occur. Start date according to agreement.

We are a pastorate with seven parishes in Eksjö municipality and a small part of Nässjö municipality. In our parishes, there are twelve churches, three chapels, twelve cemeteries, and two preschools. We have approximately 12,300 church members and 80 employees.
