Parental Substitute as Commercial Editor

Location: Vimmerby/Västervik with some commuting to Visby. From June 2025 for one year.

Do you have a journalistic background and/or experience in content marketing? Then you might be the person we are looking for at NTM Media's Content Studio. The team is spread across several locations where the group has editorial offices, and we now need a commercial editor for a parental substitute – based in Vimmerby or Västervik. You will also commute to the office in Gotland as needed, which we believe will average about once a month but could be more frequent during certain busy periods.

We are looking for a self-driven and experienced person who is good at crafting sharp headlines – and finds analysis and optimization exciting! You will work closely with the local sales team, and once you are comfortable, you will gladly join customer meetings.

In the role of commercial editor, you will alternate between creating and planning text content for our clients. Primarily digital native articles published in our local titles. You will also develop content for various advertisements and customer magazines – in Gotland, we also publish the magazine Gotland Just Now, for which you will be creating content in the spring of 2026.

In addition to the written word, you also have basic photography skills.

As a person, you enjoy connecting with new people – building relationships with clients and collaborating with salespeople is an important part of the role.

If you have a journalistic background or a strong understanding of journalistic craftsmanship, you understand the importance of finding the right angle and how to create engaging content thereafter. It is crucial that the texts we produce for our clients are interesting and relevant to achieve the best possible results.
