We are now looking for nurses for Home Care West, covering the towns of Alunda and Österbybruk.

Home Care West covers Alunda, Gimo, and Österbybruk. Each town has both special housing and ordinary housing. We collaborate closely with our colleagues within Rehabilitation, nursing staff, and the Region, primarily the health center.

Our operations are characterized by strong team cohesion, high quality of care, and good relationships between employees and patients.

Job Description

As a nurse with us, you are a key person in the team and in the development of the care we offer. We can offer an individually tailored introduction program. In your role with us, you will primarily be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing, health, and medical care interventions for patients with varying conditions. You will have a breadth in your work, including everything from wound dressing, injections, sample collection, palliative care, medication management, and more. You work closely with patients and relatives with a focus on a health-promoting and consultative approach. Together with other nurses, you are responsible for supervising, delegating to, and supporting the nursing staff.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. If you are a specialist nurse in geriatrics or dementia, or a district nurse, we see this as meritorious.

If you have work experience from home care, elderly care, or dementia care, we see this as a great advantage, but it is not a requirement.

If you thrive in independent work with good opportunities for collaboration with colleagues in the care team, that is good, as we work for a holistic view of the patient.

Our daily life is changeable, which also places demands on engagement, adaptability, and the ability to take advantage of new opportunities.

Your ability to listen, communicate, and meet needs in a way that secures your patients and their relatives is also important to us.

You should also have the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work in a responsible manner.

You express yourself easily in speech and writing in Swedish. Good computer skills are required, as we work in several different digital systems.

It is also meritorious if you have experience with the medical record systems Viva and Cosmic.

A driver's license is a requirement.
