Within the Care and Social Services Administration, full-time work is the norm. This means that all permanent employees are fundamentally employed full-time. Are you a nurse looking for a varied role where you truly make a difference every day? At our Nora short-term care facility and Linné elderly home, you will work closely with residents and become part of a team that supports each other. We develop our operations together – and we hope you want to be part of it!

We are looking for nurses for Linné and Nora, two operations located in the same building. Linné is a care and housing facility with 40 apartments spread over two floors, offering both somatic and dementia places. Nora is a short-term care facility with a dementia focus, providing 20 care places. The operations are located in Sävja, approximately 5 km south of Uppsala, in a quiet and nature-rich environment with good transport links.

The team at Nora and Linné consists of six nurses, three of whom are placed at Nora (one being a resource nurse) and two at Linné. The team also includes two occupational therapists, two physiotherapists, and care staff. Together, we create a close and well-functioning collaboration.

You work during daytime hours: 07:00-16:00, and weekend duty is included every sixth weekend.

Description of Duties

In the role of a nurse, you work closely with the resident in a role with varied tasks. You combine clinical work with active engagement in the quality and development work of the operation. Here you have the opportunity to influence – both through your daily work and in the ongoing improvement work in close collaboration with dedicated colleagues.

Your duties include:

  • Assessing and planning the need for healthcare interventions and evaluating treatment results
  • Mentoring and delegating tasks to care staff
  • Participating in team collaboration regarding residents, for example concerning nutrition, oral health, and fall risk assessments

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse. To succeed in the role, you need to have:

  • Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
  • Good documentation habits
  • Good computer skills
