The Association Ensjöholm is recruiting staff for the group home Lindgården. Varying employment levels. The work is primarily linked to a young man living in a separate house belonging to the group home, but also involves some work in the group home and day activities for the individual.

ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

Ensjöholm Association is an LSS (Act for Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) residence for adults within target group 1. The operations have a social therapeutic orientation and are based on an anthroposophical value base. We have provided LSS services for adults in Norrköping since 1982. The main operator is a non-profit, idealistic association.

Ensjöholm Association currently houses 4 group homes with a total of 22 apartments, as well as day activities with 30 places. Housing and day activities are distributed over two plots with walking distance between them in a rural environment on the outskirts of Norrköping. It is one kilometer from the Kvarnberget bus stop.

ABOUT THE WORK

We are looking for engaged individuals who want to work in a long-term and meaningful operation where quality, relationships, and respectful treatment are in focus. The position involves day work, evenings, nights (sleeping on-call), and weekends. You will work both in housing and in day activities.

DUTIES

To work based on LSS with the goal of creating conditions for an independent, secure, and meaningful life. The starting point is the individual's needs, wishes, and abilities, with a focus on participation, self-determination, and good treatment. The work involves supporting daily life based on individual needs such as personal care, support during meals, shopping, cooking, cleaning, and other practical chores at home.

You motivate and support participation in social activities, leisure activities, and other contexts that contribute to a meaningful everyday life. You will also lead work in day activities regarding the person. The work is varied and largely independent. You are part of a team that together creates a safe, structured, and predictable everyday life for the residents.

An important part of the assignment is to adapt your working method to the individual's needs and to meet different situations with calmness, sensitivity, and professionalism. We work based on implementation plans and are responsible for documenting interventions according to current legislation in the operation system Carebuilder. The position also includes delegated health and medical care tasks as well as collaboration with relatives, guardians, and other professions to ensure quality and cohesive support.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a nursing assistant, social pedagogue, support pedagogue, or have a comparable education that meets our educational requirements. Meritorious if you have experience working within LSS operations and feel confident in meeting people with various functional variations, even when they exhibit challenging behaviors.

If you have knowledge of clarifying pedagogy, low-affective treatment, or alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), we see this as an extra plus. To thrive with us, we see that you are a person who treats others with respect, sensitivity, and engagement. You have a pedagogical approach and can work independently. You also have good teamwork skills and appreciate being part of a team.

We are looking for you who are responsible, flexible, and solution-focused with the ability to plan and structure your work, and feel comfortable with documentation and digital working methods. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As an employee, you work close to our residences in their daily lives and provide individually adapted support based on needs and conditions. The work involves both care, support in daily activities, and contributing to a safe and predictable environment.

The position requires independence, responsibility, and good teamwork skills, as well as the ability to handle situations that can sometimes be complex and involve challenging behaviors.

• child and youth program, focus on social work
• post-secondary education, university college within social pedagogy, special pedagogy, or similar

MERITORIOUS

• experience working within social therapeutic or anthroposophical operations
• experience working with neuropsychiatric disabilities, intellectual disabilities, autism, and mental illness
• education or experience with pedagogical working methods aimed at adults with autism spectrum disorders
• knowledge within psychiatry
• advanced knowledge of low-affective treatment and/or clarifying pedagogy

OTHER

• Category B driver's license is a requirement
• The operation is located on the outskirts of Norrköping and public transport is within one kilometer's distance
• Salary according to agreement
