Description

Do you want to work in a smaller municipality where you, as an employee, truly make a difference and feel close to both residents and colleagues? Perstorp Municipality is now looking for an engaged and reliable Child Secretary for the Individual and Family Care department. As a Child Secretary, you will become an important part of our foster care team, handling all placement cases.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Follow-up of children placed in foster care according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Law on Care of Young Persons (LVU).
• Conducting child interviews and documentation in our operational systems.
• Planning and participating in meetings, care planning, and follow-ups.
• Collaboration with foster homes, custodians, schools, healthcare, and other actors.
• Contributing to safe, legally secure, and high-quality foster care.

The work is varied, independent, and at the same time social, with many points of collaboration.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

• A degree in Social Work.
• Good knowledge of social services legislation, especially the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Law on Care of Young Persons (LVU).
• The ability to create trusting relationships with children of different ages.
• Good communication skills and experience with documentation.
• A valid driver's license (Category B) (required for home visits and travel within the region).

We are looking for you who have the ability to work in a structured, independent manner, and with good judgment.
