Welcome to the Quality and Development Department at the Employment and Social Administration!
The Social Services are in an exciting phase of development with extensive changes related to new legislation in several areas. At the Quality and Development Department, we work together to provide the operations with qualified support during this transition. As an Administrative Lawyer with us, you will contribute expertise, analysis, and guidance in this interesting change work.
You will become part of a working group with six administrative lawyers and are simultaneously part of a unit with a total of ten employees. We work closely together and in cross-professional teams, where different competencies complement each other to create the best possible support for the administration's operations.
We are now looking for an Administrative Lawyer for a permanent position and look forward to welcoming a new colleague to our team.
Job Description
As a lawyer at the Employment and Social Administration, duties include representing the board in court, both in administrative courts and general courts. The assignment also includes assisting the board and the administration with advice on matters concerning, among others, administrative law, social law, public access and confidentiality, and municipal law.
Furthermore, duties include, for example, working with the competence development of the administration's employees, participating in development work such as collaboration with other authorities, and assisting the board in supervision matters and consultation procedures.
In the role of Administrative Lawyer, you are also expected to contribute your expertise to the unit's other assignments. Ongoing tasks in the unit consist, for example, of environmental scanning, analysis, investigation, coordination of projects, and preparation of decision-making materials.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a law degree and experience in qualified legal work.
It is meritorious if you have experience of court work, litigation, and work with involuntary care. Furthermore, it is meritorious if you have good knowledge in several of the following legal areas:
- Social Law
- Public Access and Confidentiality
- Municipal Law
- Administrative Law
- Other relevant legislation (e.g., migration law, contract law, labor law, digitalization law)
We are looking for you who take responsibility for your work and value good collaboration. You feel confident working independently, while also enjoying collaborating and contributing to the unit's common goals. We would like you to be unpretentious, service-oriented, and have a structured approach to work. You are receptive, flexible, and adapt easily to the needs of the operations.
To thrive in the role, you need to be able to plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively. You express yourself well in both speech and writing and have good communication skills. We also see that you are solution-oriented and have a positive attitude towards changes and new challenges.
About the Workplace
You will belong to Support and Development - Children and Families, which is one of six units in the Quality and Development Department.
The Quality and Development Department works, among other things, with socially sustainable development, management and development of board administration, case handling, support and analysis for development and quality work within employment and social work. The department belongs to the staff and is one of 9 departments in the Employment and Social Administration.
