Description

Perstorp Municipality is seeking an engaged child investigator for the Individual and Family Care department. In Perstorp Municipality, there are short decision-making paths, close cooperation between groups, and good opportunities to influence. As a child investigator, you work with authority functions according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Law on Care of Young Persons (LVU), and are responsible for investigating and following up on children's and young people's needs for support and protection. You work closely with colleagues, families, and partners to create the best possible conditions for children and young people in the municipality.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Conduct child and youth investigations in accordance with current legislation
• Carry out child interviews, home visits, and risk/protection assessments
• Prepare decisions, care plans, and implementation plans
• Documentation in accordance with current laws and the organization's guidelines
• Collaboration with preschools, schools, healthcare, police, and other actors
• Follow-up of measures and support for families

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• A degree in Social Work (Socionom)
• Good knowledge of social services legislation, especially the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Law on Care of Young Persons (LVU)
• Category B driver's license (required for home visits and travel within the region)

Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone who has:

Strong communication skills and confidence in meetings with children, families, and partners. You should have the ability to work independently, structured, and with good professionalism.
