The Role of the Nurse

With quality, care, and expertise in every interaction, our goal is to offer our residents safe, accessible, and high-quality ear, nose, and throat healthcare. As a nurse at the Ear, Nose, and Throat Clinic, you will have a varied role that includes, for example:

• Telephone advice (Teleq)
• Assisting at the clinic and during skin surgeries
• Dressing changes
• Work primarily during daytime hours; evening and weekend work occurs every 5–6 weeks, as well as approximately one evening per week.

In the future, rotation to the sleep apnea clinic may become relevant. Since the Ear, Nose, and Throat Clinic is a county clinic, the position involves traveling between clinics in the county on a few occasions during the year, with your base location being in Jönköping. Travel is conducted during working hours using the clinic vehicle.

We offer a permanent full-time position with a start date as agreed upon.

The Ear, Nose, and Throat Clinic is a county clinic that cares for patients with diseases and injuries in the ear, nose, and throat area. We operate in Eksjö/Nässjö, Jönköping, and Värnamo. The clinic consists of several different units, including ear, nose, and throat clinics, sleep apnea clinics, audiology clinics, and a hearing technology department. At Ryhov County Hospital in Jönköping, we also have our acute operations and inpatient wards. In total, we have approximately 100 employees.

Your Profile

To be considered for the position, you must have a license as a nurse. Previous experience in healthcare is meritorious, as is experience with the medical record system Cosmic and telephone advice. A Category B driver's license is required as travel is part of the role.

To thrive in the role of a nurse with us, it is important that you are proactive, flexible, and stable in your work approach. You have good collaboration skills and enjoy working both independently and in a team. Being structured and able to adapt to changing circumstances is also important in your daily work. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
