Job Responsibilities

At the Endoscopy Clinic, your work consists of outpatient duties and assisting physicians during various examinations and treatments. You prepare our patients by providing information and support before their visit. The work also includes planning, booking, and coordinating for our patients, managing waiting lists, and being responsible for telephone advice. Your introduction will be individually tailored, and you will take it one step at a time to get into the work. Our workplace offers great opportunities for development and new learning, and you will work both in a team with dedicated colleagues and independently. The team consists of doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists.

About the Workplace

The Medicine Clinic in Köping provides acute internal medical care in western and northern Västmanland with a catchment area of approximately 85,000 inhabitants. Within the Medicine Clinic in Köping, all internal medical diseases are investigated and treated, and each department has profile areas where the staff has in-depth knowledge. The operation is large enough to provide good experience in treating common medical diseases and small enough so that an individual employee has the opportunity to see the whole picture, be recognized, and feel at home in the entire clinic.

The Endoscopy Clinic unit consists of 4 smaller clinics: Endoscopy Clinic, Urology Clinic, Surgery Clinic, and Orthopedics Clinic.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse and have a few years of experience in the profession. We would like you to have experience in outpatient work and, if possible, experience with the medical record system Cosmic. Our work is guided by documents that are often in Swedish, so you need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

We see that you are a secure, stable person with good self-insight. You collaborate well with others as well as being able to work independently where you take responsibility for and structure your work on your own. As a person, you are meticulous and have a good ability to make necessary prioritizations. The role requires that you can quickly adapt and relate to changed circumstances.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
