Kurt Nagel Sverige AB is part of Nagel Group, one of Europe's leading logistics providers specializing in temperature-controlled transport and food logistics. The Swedish operations are based in Landskrona, where approximately 45 employees work within transport, warehousing, and administrative support functions.

The Transport Department currently consists of an experienced team responsible for international and domestic road transport in close collaboration with the company's network of contracted hauliers. The operations are characterized by a fast pace, close inter-departmental collaboration, and a commitment to continuously developing working methods, processes, and service. As part of the Nordic organization, you will also collaborate closely with colleagues in the rest of the Nordic countries when required.

About the Role

We are now looking for an experienced Transport Planner to join Kurt Nagel in Landskrona. Here, you will play a key role in the daily planning of international transport, ensuring efficient and profitable transport solutions for our customers.

The role involves significant operational responsibility where you plan transports, ensure the right transport capacity, and actively work on optimizing flows based on customer needs, available resources, and business goals. You will have daily contact with customers, hauliers, drivers, and internal functions, acting as a crucial link between all parties.

You will primarily work with export flows, but depending on your experience, import may also be relevant. The role offers great variety, where problem-solving, communication, and a business-minded approach are a natural part of everyday life.

More specifically, the role entails:

• Planning and coordinating international road transport
• Ensuring the right transport capacity through close collaboration with external hauliers
• Optimizing routes, capacity utilization, and transport flows
• Maintaining ongoing contact with customers, hauliers, drivers, and internal departments
• Handling changes, deviations, and transport-related issues in daily operations

About You

We are looking for someone with several years of experience in international transport planning or forwarding, who feels confident in a role where you independently drive daily traffic planning. You have a good understanding of how international road transport works and are accustomed to working closely with external hauliers to ensure efficient transport solutions.

To succeed in this role, we believe you are structured and solution-oriented while thriving in a fast-paced environment where many cases are handled in parallel. You are good at prioritizing when conditions change and are motivated by finding the best solution for both the customer and the business.

We also see that you are a communicative team player who enjoys having many contact points and appreciates close collaboration with colleagues, customers, and carriers. If you also have an established network within international road transport, we consider this an advantage.

The following are requirements for the position:

• At least five years of experience in transport planning, traffic management, or international forwarding
• Experience in buying and selling transport capacity
• Good system proficiency and experience with TMS or similar business systems
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: According to agreement

Working Hours: Mon-Fri 08:00-16:30. Sunday scheduling may also occur approximately every fourth to fifth week with corresponding compensation.
