About Us

Welcome to Närhälsan Töreboda Health Centre – a pleasant and well-functioning workplace with approximately 40 employees and around 7,500 registered patients.

Our goal is clear: each doctor should be responsible for approximately 1,100 patients to create good continuity and sustainable working conditions. To achieve this, we are now looking for a General Practitioner who wants to develop the operations together with us.

We are a work group that values collaboration, team spirit, and a good work environment just as highly as quality and results. The health centre offers both emergency and planned care with a district doctor's clinic, district nurse's clinic, Child Health Centre (BVC), and laboratory. We collaborate closely with the midwife clinic, youth clinic, rehabilitation clinic, public dental care, and social services, as well as having good cooperation with the county hospital and Töreboda Municipality.

The health centre is centrally located in Töreboda with good commuting options from, for example, Skövde and Mariestad by train, bus, or car.

About the Job

Your tasks at the health centre cover a broad field and include general medical competence with patients of all ages and situations. You will work with clinic work and digital healthcare meetings in primary care.

You and your colleagues form a team with the opportunity to develop the operations. We achieve success together in an stimulating learning environment with open doors and a welcoming climate. The role also includes supervising ST and AT doctors as well as medical students; it is an important part of our mission to train tomorrow's healthcare personnel. We offer you varied work with good development opportunities, for example through continuous further education of ten days per year.

About You

You are a licensed physician with specialist training in general medicine and eligibility to practice within Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, at level C1 or higher according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement for the position.

We are looking for you who thrive in an independent role but also want to be an active part of the operation's development work. In your meetings with our patients, you are attentive, professional, and have a good approach. You see collaboration with colleagues and partners as a natural and important part of your work.
