General Practitioner for Vaggeryd Health Centre – Develop the Future of Primary Care

This is a permanent position at 100%, although the working hours can be discussed according to preference.

A Focus on Future Healthcare

The political leadership has tasked Bra Liv Health Centres with focusing on selected health centres in the region. The primary goal is to reach a target of 1,100 listed patients per full-time general specialist (550 per full-time ST-doctor). The hope is that this will create synergies regarding, among other things, equal care for residents, increased attractiveness of working in primary care, improved working environment, and a long-term reduced need for locum doctors at the selected health centres.

Vaggeryd Health Centre is one of the selected health centres! All our doctors here will work based on the new listing goals from now on. We are therefore pleased to recruit a general specialist with these new prerequisites. We offer good opportunities for competence development, good supervision, and scheduled collegial support at our doctor meetings. Additionally, this year we will start a collaboration with a so-called "partner health centre" in the region for mutual support and experience sharing. In the role, you will have allocated time for self-directed patient clinics and development work.

The Role of District Doctor

As a district doctor at Bra Liv Vaggeryd Health Centre, you are offered an independent position where you have the opportunity to influence your work. The work is varied, involving planned and acute patient visits, supervision of trainee doctors, collaboration with home healthcare, and the opportunity to work at the municipality's special housing facilities and/or child health services. We offer a fun and exciting job close to the public with many contact areas where your competence is valued and stimulated. On-call duties and night shifts at the Urgent Care Centre are included in the position.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who:

• Have proof of specialist competence and good knowledge of the Swedish language (at least C1 level).
• Have experience as a district doctor, as you will help shape the development of our doctor team and the operations in general. You will play a central role.
• Have experience supervising trainee doctors as well as other professions at the health centre.
• Can work independently and with different professional groups.
• Are engaged, responsible, and understand the importance of a good approach to patients.
• Are flexible and want to develop and improve operations together with us.
• Embrace new knowledge, work according to the latest research, and serve as a knowledge resource for your colleagues.
• Can adapt your work, approach, and attitude based on the patient and situation.
• Hold a valid B-driving license.
• Through good collaboration with management and colleagues, want to contribute to creating participation and a good working environment.
