Restaurant Assistant at O’Learys Uddevalla

About the role: We are currently looking for a cheerful and outgoing person ready to take on various tasks and contribute to a pleasant and professional atmosphere at O’Learys Uddevalla. As a Restaurant Assistant, you will act in several different roles, such as Runner, Dishwasher, Server, or Kitchen Assistant. You will perform various duties to ensure smooth restaurant operations and deliver outstanding service to our guests.

Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for thorough cleaning and maintenance of the premises according to given routines and checklists.
• Supporting the dish and bar areas by clearing dishes and restocking consumables.
• Sorting and washing all incoming dishes.
• Ensuring the dish room remains clean and organized.
• Emptying trash and keeping drains clean.
• Greeting and attending to guests, taking orders, and serving food and drinks.
• Handling payments.
• Preparing ingredients and cleaning the kitchen.
• Assisting with inventory and receiving goods deliveries.

Desired experience and skills:

• At least one year of work experience as service staff in a restaurant/bar and good cash register skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written Swedish, with good knowledge of English.
• Minimum of upper secondary education (high school).
• Relational, stress-resistant, and enjoys working as part of a team.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Problem solver with a focus on creating a great guest experience.
• Passionate about food, drinks, sports, and people.
