Do you want to lead projects that make a real difference for both people and society? Here, you will drive projects from planning to implementation alongside engaged colleagues and partners. Together, we ensure that Sweden runs smoothly.

Responsibilities

In the role of Project Manager, you plan, implement, and develop the maintenance of the road network in the county, through both preventive and long-term maintenance. During times of historically large investments, you will have the opportunity to work with a project team consisting of project engineers and technical specialists, as well as contracted consultants and contractors, to deliver safe and accessible roads that meet society's needs for travel and transport, today and in the future. You are responsible for the overall leadership, steering, and follow-up of projects. Furthermore, you contribute motivation and inspiration to your project team to create a good work environment. The role involves extensive contact both internally and with external parties. You work closely with our contracted contractors and hold regular meetings with them.

I am your manager, Christian Dahlskog. Through open and honest dialogue, I drive the business forward. With a shared focus and responsibility, we deliver results and build trust both internally and externally. We have fun together and enjoy our work. I hope you want to join us on our journey to develop a modern, efficient, and sustainable transport system!

You are also flexible and not afraid of the quick decisions that are sometimes part of everyday life in a BAS contract. We also look for strong analytical problem-solving skills.

You are motivated by active employee participation, where you consciously take responsibility for your tasks while being mindful of how you contribute to the whole by collaborating with others.

We are looking for someone who has:
