We are now looking for an HR Specialist with a location in Älvsbyn or Umeå. The HR function is responsible for the overarching HR processes and drives HR work forward in close collaboration with our managers. Together, we work to ensure that Polarbröd continues to be a workplace with high employee satisfaction. The approach is consultative, and your role will be to support and guide managers in both operational and strategic HR matters. Here, you will be part of a small HR team with close collaboration and a shared responsibility for delivering high-quality, business-oriented HR support.

You will work broadly with HR issues, from major to minor, primarily within rehabilitation and adaptation, employment law, and wage formation. Work within all parts of the HR area is included in the role, which means you will also work with occupational health and safety, recruitment, change management, and our employer brand.

In the role, you are expected to be able to switch between advising on individual cases, follow-up and planning, collaboration with various parties such as occupational health services and the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, to development work.

We are looking for you who have an academic education in HR, with a few years of experience in qualified HR work, acting as close support to management and operations. We would like you to be structured and engaged, as well as someone who likes to take responsibility. You enjoy working in teams and cross-functionally within the organization, but also thrive working independently. Having good communication skills in both speech and writing is a prerequisite for performing the task well. Here, you will be trusted to contribute, develop, and help shape our HR work.

The HR function is organized within the parent company, Polarbröd Group. Travel between our operational locations is included in the position.
