Cleaning services are part of Regional Services, which consists of approximately 120 employees distributed across five departments. Together, we work with quality, responsibility, and pride in what we do. In the role of cleaner in Växjö, you will work at one of our workplaces. Our mission is to clean care wards and clinics, among other places, where you will meet both patients and staff in your daily routine.

The work involves early mornings, which means you need to enjoy starting the day early and be energetic and ready when the workday begins. We offer you a job where your effort every day contributes to safe care and a better experience for everyone who visits our premises.

We are now looking for hourly paid cleaners who can start working with us after the summer holiday period, starting in late August or early September.

DUTIES

The work is varied and includes both daily cleaning in our premises and more extensive deep cleaning. In your daily work, you are responsible for keeping patient rooms, operating theaters, corridors, waiting rooms, and other common areas clean and pleasant, as well as offices and administrative premises. As a cleaner, you are an important part of our operations. You contribute to a high hygienic standard in environments where it truly makes a difference. We use evidence-based methods to prevent the spread of infection and ensure a safe environment for both patients and colleagues.

In addition to cleaning, you also perform service tasks on behalf of the operations, such as orders and unpacking of laundry and consumables, all to create a functioning and well-organized care environment.

As an hourly paid cleaner with us, you log your own availability and are contacted when there is a need, for example, during sick leave or other temporary vacancies.

We now need more hourly paid staff for:

• Växjö University Hospital and the Sigrids area – Care-related cleaning

You work with cleaning of clinics, wards, common areas, and office environments.

• Working hours: Monday–Sunday 06:00–15:00 or 07:00–16:00.
• If you work in the Sigrids area, we will request an extract from the suspicion and criminal records before employment.

• Deep cleaning – thorough cleaning

Requirement: Driver's license. An extract from the suspicion and criminal records will be requested before employment.

You perform deep cleaning, moving cleaning, and construction cleaning.

• Working hours: Monday–Friday 06:00–15:00.

The work is physical and can sometimes be demanding, which means you need to have good physical fitness and enjoy moving around during the workday. At the same time, we place great emphasis on creating a good work environment and a sustainable working life for our employees.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who thrive in a service-oriented role and want to contribute to a clean, safe, and well-functioning care environment. To work with us, you must be at least 18 years old. Previous experience in service occupations is meritorious. As a person, you are reliable, flexible, and have an easy time collaborating with others. You are structured in your approach to work, have an eye for order and details, and take responsibility for your tasks.

A driver's license is required for the deep cleaning position, and we will request an extract from the suspicion and criminal records before employment for deep cleaning or work in the Sigrids area.

To succeed in the role, we also see that you:

• Have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as the work follows clear written guidelines.
• Enjoy physically active work and have good physical fitness.
• Have computer skills.
