As an intermittent substitute, you will get an interesting, fun, and varied job. You will be booked as an economic assistant (kitchen assistant/admin support) at several different workplaces within preschools, schools, and care homes within the municipality.

Your role with us

As an economic assistant, you step in to cover temporary staffing needs for our meal units, which places high demands on your ability to be open to new challenges every day.

Your tasks will include:

• Preparing and serving meals
• Handling special diets
• Performing self-controls according to current routines
• Ordering goods and receiving deliveries
• Dishwashing and kitchen cleaning
• Packing and other common tasks in a kitchen
• Working in our diet program, Mashie

We use Time Care Pool as the booking system for your shifts. At our workplace, you work during daytime hours, and weekend work is part of our operations.

As an employee, you are an ambassador for the staffing unit Common Services.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you who have passed the Restaurant and Food Program with a focus on kitchens or have equivalent education. We would like you to have knowledge and experience of special diets as well as experience working in production kitchens. Knowledge and experience of diet software as well as ordering and invoice management are meritorious. We require good knowledge of food hygiene and self-control procedures.

Since ordering and communication are part of the job, we assume you are computer literate and proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written. Knowledge and experience of diet software is meritorious. You must have a B-driver's license and access to a car.

Your personal qualities are important, and we are looking for someone who is flexible, receptive, and easy to collaborate with. You are solution-focused, positive, driven, and engaged. Contributing that little extra to both colleagues and guests is important to you.

The staffing and recruitment unit supports the municipality's operations with substitutes when regular staff is absent or during other needs. We provide staffing for preschools, schools, meals, and facility maintenance.

We are part of the Common Services department, tasked with delivering cost-effective, high-quality services to all administrations within Kristianstad Municipality.
