At our Psychiatric Clinic in Piteå, you will be welcomed by a dedicated team with strong cohesion and a culture driven by continuous development. Are you curious, eager to learn more, and enjoy taking on new challenges? Then this might be the right place for you.
Piteå General Psychiatry is a specialist psychiatric outpatient clinic offering assessment, treatment, and follow-up for adult patients with moderate to severe psychiatric conditions. Multiple professions work together here to provide the best possible care for our patients.
Our catchment area covers Piteå, Älvsbyn, Arvidsjaur, and Arjeplog. We are approximately 70 employees who jointly take responsibility for the development and quality of our operations. Work is carried out both at the clinic and close to the patient through outreach efforts and collaboration with health centres, municipalities, and other healthcare providers. As part of Region Norrbotten's transition to Nära vård (primary care), we are developing working methods that make care more accessible and tailored to the individual.
We are currently engaged in an exciting development project through our Specialist Psychiatric Nursing Team (SPOT). The team works preventively to reduce the need for inpatient care, shorten treatment times, and increase patient involvement through early interventions and care close to the individual.
Do you want to be part of our journey? We welcome your application!
