About the position
Oncology 9 (formerly Pelvic Oncology) at Karolinska University Hospital in Solna is a highly specialized ward focusing on gynecological, urological, and colorectal cancer. Here, we care for patients with complex needs, including during chemotherapy and radiation treatment.
We are the national referral center for trophoblastic tumors and receive patients from all over Sweden, giving us a unique breadth and specialization in our field. Our ward has 28 fully occupied beds, and the work is organized into six care teams during day shifts and six during evening shifts.
Our teams consist of nurses and nursing assistants working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals. We have a strong focus on holistic care, where psychosocial support is an integral part of daily work.
Here you will receive close support from the ward's experienced specialist nurses in oncology. They provide supervision and training in advanced nursing procedures directly in clinical practice, creating excellent opportunities for development and specialized competence.
The position is a six-month temporary contract with night shift duties.

Qualifications
Requirements:
- licensed nurse (RN)
- experience from inpatient care
- experience with night shift work
