The Staffing Center is a municipal operation responsible for managing Huddinge Municipality's internal substitute staffing. Our mission is to recruit hourly substitutes for various units within disability support and elderly care during short-term absences such as sick leave, vacation, or education.
We are currently seeking summer substitutes for our home care services. Our units are spread across Huddinge, with offices in central Huddinge, Flemingsberg, Vårby, Stuvsta, Trångsund, and Skogås. We are also hiring staff for the Night Patrol and Alarm Group, which responds to security alarms throughout the municipality. Additionally, we run two day activities for people with dementia in Stuvsta and Trångsund, where days are filled with singing, music, shared cooking, and walks. In your application, you will answer questions about which units interest you most.
Job Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include meeting our clients' individual care and support needs at home. You will treat clients with respect, focusing on ensuring they feel safe and involved in their care. It is important that you are comfortable supporting clients with all their needs, including personal hygiene, cleaning, and shopping.
Your Profile
To be considered for this role, you must be available immediately and able to work at least three days a week as an hourly substitute. It is advantageous if you can work extra hours during the summer and are available for assignments with a schedule spanning at least four consecutive weeks. Since we operate year-round, you must be flexible with varying shifts, including days and evenings, weekdays and weekends. Flexibility is therefore essential.
You should have experience working in care or healthcare. A nursing assistant education with a license from the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen), along with home care experience, is highly advantageous. A valid driver's license (Category B) and cycling ability are also a plus.
The role requires strong initiative, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. You should be self-assured and comfortable working with individuals who have a high need for continuity, structure, and care. We are looking for someone with a professional approach, characterized by a positive view of people and respectful interactions. Understanding the needs and emotions of others—both among residents and within the team—is a natural part of this role.
You must be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
Good computer skills are required as documentation is done digitally.
