As one of our nurses has chosen to take on new challenges, we are looking for a new colleague to join the wonderful nursing team in Lammhult, a town located approximately four miles northwest of Växjö.

In Lammhult, you will work in a team of six nurses. Our patients reside in both ordinary housing with home healthcare services and in the special housing facility on Lammgatan. As a nurse in Växjö Municipality, you work as a patient responsible nurse. In Lammhult, you are responsible for patients either in home healthcare or in the special housing facility, but collaboration and collegial support are second nature, and we help each other in daily work.

Together with other professions in the municipality, we collaborate to create security in being cared for at home. As a nurse, you play a central role in ensuring safe, high-quality care.

Working as a nurse in home healthcare involves responsibility and variety. We build good relationships with those we serve and view our patients as co-creators in their own care.

You work during daytime hours and currently every fifth weekend. In your role, you combine independent responsibility for patients' health and medical care with supervision of nursing staff and collaboration with other professions.

The position is 80-100%.

Your responsibilities include:

• Planning and being responsible for patients' health and medical care, including medication management
• Supervising and supporting nursing staff in daily work
• Documenting according to current routines and legislation
• Collaborating with various professions, relatives, and colleagues to create cohesive and person-centered care
• Contributing to development and quality work within the operations to promote a good and safe care environment.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse and have a genuine interest in working with the elderly. You are confident in your professional role, can make independent decisions, and enjoy taking responsibility. You communicate clearly, are flexible, and collaborate well with others. You also have a desire to continue developing in your profession and contribute to raising the quality of care.

Requirements:

• Licensure as a nurse
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good computer skills and ability to document according to current routines
• Valid driver's license (Category B)

Merits:

• Experience from work in municipal home healthcare
• Specialized education, for example as a district nurse or in elderly care
