We are looking for staff for:

• Säbo (Support and Service Housing) – day, evening, and weekend

  The staff working day, evening, and weekend at Skogsgården work in teams together with all professions at the workplace. We will work with joint planning on all wards.

• Short-term Care – day, evening, and weekend

  Guests on the short-term wards can come from all over social services, which means there can be large variations in guests' ages, illnesses, and needs for help. We must be prepared to receive people with short notice and with great variation. The staff working on the Short-term wards work in teams together with all professions at the workplace.

Job Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant or care aide at Skogsgården, you are the contact person, which means you have a central role in the care and support of the resident/guest. The work is based on individual needs, implementation plans, and the organization's guidelines and goals. You help the resident/guest with hygiene, medication, dressing/undressing, and social interaction. The nursing assistant's/care aide's duties also include administering medication as delegated.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as a nursing assistant or care aide and preferably have experience working with people with cognitive impairment. We are looking for you who have personal maturity, are flexible, take responsibility and initiative in your work, and have good cooperation skills and a welcoming attitude. You must have good knowledge of communicating, as well as reading and writing Swedish. Great importance is placed on personal competence.

More about the position

Permanent employment, full-time with the possibility of part-time. Start date by agreement.

Skogsgården is a care and nursing home on Strömnäsbacken in Piteå Municipality, which opened in January/February 2025. The facility is located in the new residential area of Strömnäsbacken, which is currently developing and growing.

The facility has 80 beds distributed across 8 wards. 20 of the beds are used as temporary accommodation, short-term beds.
