We are now looking for more drivers to join our team for accessible vehicles (multifunction vehicles) and transport services in Umeå. We are hiring for both full-time and part-time positions.

A multifunction vehicle is a minibus equipped to accommodate passengers in wheelchairs. These vehicles can be driven with a standard Category B driver's license. However, you must hold a taxi license. As a driver of a multifunction vehicle, your primary duties include wheelchair transport, but also stretcher transport, accessible transport (färdtjänst), school trips, and medical trips, as well as regular taxi rides. Working hours are varied and follow a shift pattern, which may include evenings and weekends. However, we also offer other schedule types, such as afternoon/evening shifts only, or a 7 days on / 7 days off rotation.

The intended start date for these positions is in the second half of August. Training in company routines and equipment will be conducted prior to employment.

We primarily seek candidates who already hold a taxi license, but we also welcome applicants interested in obtaining one if they feel they are the right fit for our organization. For those without a taxi license, we offer support with studies (study materials, etc.) and cover the costs associated with obtaining the license (exam fees, medical examinations, etc.).

You will have customer contact on every trip, playing a vital role in the daily lives of those using our services.

Your duties as a taxi driver will be to perform trips for Min Taxi's customers in Umeå and surrounding municipalities, providing the best possible service. This is a highly service-oriented profession with significant customer contact. While many associate taxi driving with weekend night trips to bars, our work primarily involves socially subsidized transport on weekdays. This includes medical trips for the region, school trips, and accessible transport for the municipalities, as well as business travel for corporate clients. You will constantly interact with people, often being a key link in their daily routine to get to/from healthcare facilities, schools, work, etc.

We cover a large geographical area and operate in much of Northern Sweden. We have vehicles stationed in Boden, Kalix, Luleå, Nordmaling, Robertsfors, Sollefteå, Vindeln, Vännäs, Umeå, and Örnsköldsvik. Long-distance trips across municipal borders and large parts of Norrland are common. Currently, we have approximately 175 vehicles and 250 employed drivers.

In addition to performing trips and caring for our customers, part of the job involves keeping the vehicles clean and well-maintained.

The company has a collective agreement, and salaries are determined according to this agreement. Salary for work in multifunction vehicles follows the following model:

New driver without professional experience

Hourly wage: 166.78 SEK/h

Monthly salary: 27,753 SEK / 166.4 hours

2 years of experience in the profession

Hourly wage: 171.84 SEK/h

Monthly salary: 28,594 SEK / 166.4 hours

4 years of experience in the profession

Hourly wage: 174.71 SEK/h

Monthly salary: 28,594 SEK / 166.4 hours

6 years of experience in the profession

Hourly wage: 175.31 SEK/h

Monthly salary: 29,171 SEK / 166.4 hours

Shift allowance (OB): 31.58 SEK/h

Quality shift allowance (Kval-OB): 52.79 SEK/h
