Academic Resource is now looking for a Quality Manager for a company in Stockholm.

The position is a consulting assignment starting as agreed.

The work is full-time for the first 2 months, after which you will work part-time as agreed with the client.

Location: Stockholm.

About the company:

The company's product portfolio includes dietary supplements and foods for special medical purposes (FSMP). The company operates internationally with high demands on quality, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.

About the role:

As the Quality Manager, you are responsible for the company's Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure that operations meet current quality and regulatory requirements. The role combines strategic responsibility with operational work and involves many contact points, both internally and externally.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for and further developing the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure that quality routines, SOPs, and documentation are up to date.
• Follow and implement current regulations for dietary supplements and FSMP.
• Handle quality issues with manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, and customers.
• Responsible for complaint handling and investigation of quality deviations.
• Plan and support internal and external audits as well as supplier assessments.
• Ensure traceability, review product documentation, and labeling.
• Train the organization in quality and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO and external partners on quality and regulatory matters.

Qualifications:

• An academic degree in e.g., food science, pharmacy, nutrition, bioscience, or equivalent.
• At least two years of experience in quality work within food, dietary supplements, medical nutrition, pharmaceuticals, or other regulated activities.
• Experience with audits and regulatory compliance.
• Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.

Preferred:

• Experience with HACCP, GMP, ISO 9001, or similar quality standards.
• Experience with international suppliers and contract manufacturing.
• Knowledge of products within medical nutrition or FSMP.
