The Mobile Emergency Unit (MAE) is an on-call and assessment unit that offers telephone advice, doctor visits, and emergency home visits for patients residing in the catchment area of North Stockholm Psychiatry (NSP). The unit is available every day of the week between 08:00 and 22:00.
The Mobile Emergency Unit is located at the S:t Göran hospital area on Kungsholmen and belongs to the North Stockholm Psychiatry clinic.
The unit is a hub for North Stockholm Psychiatry and collaborates with all of the clinic's outpatient clinics as well as inpatient care in its role as an on-call and assessment team. The Mobile Emergency Unit also houses NSP's referral portal, which is responsible for assessing and processing all referrals sent to North Stockholm Psychiatry. The unit is also responsible for staffing the coordinator phone for patient admissions to inpatient care.
We are now looking for two assistant nurses for the Mobile Emergency Unit, primarily for evening shifts and weekends.
Job Responsibilities
Home visits providing support with medication intake and psychiatric assessments.
Psychiatric counseling via telephone 08:00–22:00.
Conditions
Permanent position, full-time. Primarily evening shifts and weekends. Start date by agreement.

Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a trained assistant nurse with proof of a protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare, and who have experience and interest in psychiatric care. You should have good knowledge of the region's organization and how psychiatry is structured regarding treatment interventions and levels of care. You have good collaboration skills and a flexible, solution-oriented work approach. You also have good verbal and written communication skills.

A B-class driver's license is required.

The position will be filled subject to the condition that it does not need to be taken for internal reassignment, according to current regulations.
For patient-facing work within the Stockholm County Council (SLSO):
- A register check is applied before the decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines.
- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employment health examination via occupational health services before employment.
- In addition to a Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. The same requirement is guiding for non-licensed staff with patient contact.
