Job Description
Do you want to make a real difference in the everyday lives of children and young people? As a school psychologist with us, you will work closely with students, guardians, and school staff to create conditions for learning, development, and well-being. You will become part of the Student Health Service, where the psychological perspective is central in promoting good learning environments and early identification of support needs.
We are looking for you who want to contribute to developing the student health work and strengthen the schools' ability to meet the needs of all students. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work both consultatively and investigatively in close collaboration with other professions.
As a school psychologist, you will primarily work with preventive and promoting student health work. The assignment includes among other things:
- drive and develop the psychological part of the student health service together with colleagues
- actively contribute to the promoting and preventive student health work in schools
- offer consultation and supervision to school staff regarding psychological issues
- plan and implement training and competence development initiatives for staff
- conduct psychological assessments
- serve as operational support in matters concerning students' development and learning
- collaborate with other actors such as social services, habilitation services, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP)

You will become part of an engaged student health team where different professions collaborate to create good learning environments and strengthen students' conditions for success in school. The position offers meaningful work where you make a concrete difference for children and young people every day. You will have the opportunity to work closely with other professions within the student health service and contribute to the development of schools' student health work. Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in the development of children and young people and who want to work in a school environment where collaboration is central. You thrive in a consultative role and have the ability to build trusting relationships with both students, guardians, and staff. You are sensitive, analytical, and have a professional approach when meeting different people and situations. You work in a structured and independent manner while appreciating being part of an interdisciplinary team. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and teamwork skills.
Requirements:
- Registered Psychologist (Legitimerad psykolog)
- Experience working within school operations, from preschool to upper secondary school
- Experience in teamwork with different professional groups
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
Merits:
- Access to a car, as several of our units are located outside the city center
- Experience working in a multicultural school environment
The position is a permanent employment. Depending on how the staffing situation develops during the recruitment process, the position may instead be offered as a fixed-term employment in the form of a temporary replacement.
