Your Responsibilities

Animal Caretaker – Pig Production

We are currently looking for an engaged and responsible animal caretaker with a focus on pig production for our client, located in a picturesque and peaceful rural environment. The position is full-time with a start date as soon as possible.

As an animal caretaker with us, you will work closely with the animals in a business characterized by good animal husbandry, job satisfaction, and genuine commitment. The farm has a smaller-scale production, which means that every effort makes a big difference and teamwork is crucial for a well-functioning daily routine.

Your Profile

Responsibilities:

• Daily care of pigs, including feeding, supervision, and environmental management.
• Health assessment and documentation.
• Contribute to good animal welfare and hygiene routines.
• Assist with work in other parts of the operation as needed.
• Possible participation in breeding/seminar work (experience is meritorious but not a requirement).

Qualifications:

• Experience in animal care, preferably with a focus on pigs.
• Good teamwork skills and a sense of responsibility.
• Flexibility and ability to work independently.
• Valid B-class driver's license.

We offer an stimulating position in a pleasant work environment with room for both development and involvement in the operations. Housing on the farm is available upon request.

About the Company

Working hours are daytime Monday–Friday, 07:00–16:00, with a scheduled weekend shift. You will be employed by us at Agroflow and hired out to our client. You will commute from home and work according to the schedule assigned to you.
