Daycare Activity Center 'Juvelen' is looking for a Nurse Assistant

In Kungsör Municipality, there is the day activity center 'Juvelen' which caters to people with dementia living in their own homes. The activity also serves as a valuable support for relatives by offering respite in everyday life.

Job Responsibilities

Here, you are the hub of the activity. You plan and carry out activities such as social gatherings, individual and group activities, music, singing sessions, and daily outdoor walks when the weather permits. You provide social support, assist with toilet visits and meals, and document in our activity system.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a nurse assistant (undersköterska) and hold a protected professional title. We see that you have experience working with people with dementia and have previously worked with activities and activation. A B-class driver's license is required.

As a person, you are flexible, engaged, and have good teamwork skills. You are sensitive, patient, and have a low-affective approach to care. Your creativity and positivity enable you to see opportunities instead of obstacles. Creating safety and trust comes naturally to you. You see every individual, plan, and carry out activities that promote participation and independence for those we serve. Personal suitability is highly valued.

Conditions

• You work daytime hours including public holidays, with possible changes if weekend service is needed.
