In this role, you will become an important part of the operational activities, working closely with the technology, equipment, and team. Siccum is a leading company in freeze dewatering – a technology that enables cost-effective and environmentally friendly ways to handle waste and recover valuable resources. Based in Luleå and Pajala, Siccum works to optimize the dewatering of various materials, leading to both economic and environmental gains.

Siccum is now seeking a Lead Technician for its operations at Bergnäset in Luleå.

Responsibilities

As a Lead Technician at Siccum, you will have a central role in daily operations. You will work practically with technology, operations, and maintenance while serving as a technical resource and support for the team.

Your main responsibilities:

• Work practically with the operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of freeze dewatering equipment.
• Identify technical challenges and contribute to finding solutions.
• Provide technical support to colleagues in their daily work.
• Ensure that equipment and processes function according to quality and safety requirements.
• Contribute to improvements in working methods, routines, and technical solutions.
• Plan and prioritize work efforts based on the needs of the business.
• Participate in the development of the business and create structure in daily work.

We are looking for you who

We are looking for someone with experience from industry, production, mechanics, process engineering, or other technical operations. You thrive working practically, take responsibility, and enjoy solving technical problems.

We believe you:

• Have good technical understanding and experience with troubleshooting.
• Are accustomed to working independently and taking initiative.
• Are solution-oriented and enjoy developing working methods.
• Take responsibility and contribute your experience to the team.
• Are meticulous, safety-conscious, and quality-focused.
• Hold a valid driver's license (Category B).

It is an advantage if you have experience with:

• Industrial operations and production.
• Mechanics, electricity, or automation.
• Maintenance of machinery and technical equipment.
• Work with process equipment.
• Operator's license for wheel loaders.

Most important for this recruitment is that you are technically skilled, engaged, and want to help develop the business together with Siccum.
