As a Drill Machine Technician at Sandvik in Kiruna, you will have the opportunity to work right in the heart of mining and rock engineering technology. You will become an integral part of a skilled team, driving improvements and ensuring our customers receive drilling equipment that performs efficiently and with high operational reliability. You will collaborate closely with production, service, and customer teams to solve challenges, carry out service tasks, and deliver excellent results.

About the Role

You are responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and service of rock drills and associated systems. The work takes place both in the workshop and on-site at customer locations, involving preventive maintenance, repairs, documentation, reporting, and feedback. You will also participate in technical improvement projects and support colleagues and customers with correct usage.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform service, repair, and maintenance of rock drills
• Troubleshoot hydraulics, electrical/control systems, and mechanical components
• Conduct site visits at customer locations
• Manage spare parts
• Contribute suggestions to improvement projects

Your Background

We are looking for you with a mechanical background and an interest in machinery. Experience with mining machinery is an advantage. You work independently, are practical and problem-solving, and document and communicate well in both Swedish and English.
