Traffic Controller
As a Traffic Controller, you are responsible for ensuring that our transports are carried out efficiently, safely, and with high quality. You play a central role in directing and optimizing traffic in real-time and serve as a key support to our drivers in their daily work.

Boreal Sweden is growing rapidly! In December 2026, we will launch operations for service trips in Skellefteå and expand our taxi business.
We are looking for someone who can see connections, works efficiently in various systems, and is communicative.
Your Responsibilities
As a Traffic Controller at Boreal Sweden, your main task will be to actively lead and distribute assignments in the traffic control system, in accordance with the current traffic plan, laws/regulations, and vehicle allocation. You will act as the communication hub internally and towards clients/customers.
Tasks within the area of responsibility:
- Handle deviations such as vehicle issues, weather impacts, and other disruptions
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to drivers
- Optimize traffic through, for example, combining trips and efficient resource planning
- Handle urgent staffing needs and sudden absences
- Investigate incidents when deviations occur
- Stay updated on laws and regulations concerning traffic and traffic control.
- Make operational decisions within traffic control
- Prioritize resources to ensure safe and efficient traffic production
- Collaborate with planning, traffic control, and the rest of the organization to achieve business goals
Your Background/Qualities
This role requires you to have strong system proficiency and to work efficiently with various digital tools.
Since the job involves handling rapid changes and challenges regarding the planning of personnel resources and vehicles, it is required that you are calm and methodical as a person. Furthermore, we look for someone with good analytical skills who can make wise decisions in the moment as well as in the long term. You are team-oriented and thrive working closely with other functions to contribute to the whole. It is important that you take ownership and can work independently.
For this position, you must be able to express yourself fluently in both spoken and written Swedish. Additional language skills are a plus.
