Property Services with a Focus on Outdoor Environments for OKG in Oskarshamn

Here, you will become part of an engaged team responsible for ensuring the facility's outdoor environments and service functions maintain high quality – all year round.

About the Role

As a service employee, you have a broad and varied role where you work with both area maintenance and property services. You are responsible for ensuring the facility's outdoor environments are well-maintained, safe, and functional, while also assisting with practical service tasks based on operational needs.

The work is planned based on recurring maintenance tasks as well as incoming fault reports or deviations, meaning your workdays will vary and require a solution-oriented approach.

Examples of Tasks

• Area maintenance and upkeep of the facility's outdoor environments.
• Mowing, trimming, and clearing green areas.
• Pruning trees, bushes, and hedges.
• Snow removal, anti-icing, sweeping, and cleaning.
• Operating wheel loaders and other work machinery.
• Simple building maintenance and handyman duties.
• Handling incoming fault reports and deviations, as well as simple repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Supervision and simple maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Ensuring work is performed according to current safety, quality, and environmental requirements.

We are looking for you who

You enjoy working practically and thrive in a varied job where you use both your body and your head. You are self-motivated, take responsibility for your tasks, and see what needs to be done without waiting for instructions.

Since the work takes place in a safety-critical operation, you are meticulous, quality-conscious, and have a strong focus on safety. You also have a service-oriented attitude and contribute to good collaboration with both colleagues and customers.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• A valid driver's license (Category B).
• Experience in area maintenance, property maintenance, handyman work, contracting, or similar practical work.
• Experience working with lawnmowers, brush cutters, or other power tools.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Brush cutter license.
• Chainsaw license.
• Wheel loader certification and experience operating wheel loaders.
• Experience in carpentry, machinery service, repair and maintenance of machinery, or other practical skills that can contribute to the operation.

Additional Information

Employment Type: Permanent position with an initial probationary period according to the current collective agreement.
Working Hours: Full-time, daytime.
