Forenede Care AB has been operating the special housing facility Bangårdsgatan on behalf of Östersund Municipality since April 2023. The facility offers 80 apartments spread over four floors, including a terrace with views of the Oviksfjällen mountains.

We are now looking for a nursing assistant who wants to join Forenede Care in continuing to build Östersund's newest special housing facility.

We work in teams consisting of care staff, nurses, group leaders, deputy operations manager, and operations manager.

Our work makes a difference in the daily lives of the elderly. Care will be characterized by a holistic view of the individual and is driven by the core belief that the elderly have the ability to choose how they want to live their lives with support from staff.

Job Responsibilities

Care and nursing work where the citizen's will and needs are always at the center. Together with other staff, you are responsible for planning and executing daily nursing care with a strong focus on quality.

We work with contact person assignments where nursing care is based on the individual's needs and wishes. It is of utmost importance that you treat our citizens and their relatives in a warm and heartfelt manner. The role includes documentation in Viva, which means you must be able to express yourself well both verbally and in writing.

Qualifications

Nursing assistant education. Previous experience in elderly care/dementia care is an advantage. The work requires some computer skills. The job requires you to be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with older people, is sensitive to others' needs, has a good attitude towards service, and works well in a team. As a person, you adapt easily to new situations, are flexible, independent, and view new challenges positively. Other valuable traits include responsibility, commitment, and attention to detail. You provide a warm welcome to our citizens and their relatives and work based on our value base. You are a good representative of our operations. We place great emphasis on personal suitability!

Employment Terms

Work hours: 85% and 70%

Start date: October 1, 2026

Day and evening shifts.

Permanent position, with a six-month probation period applied according to the collective agreement.

An extract from the criminal record may be required.

Forenede Care has a collective agreement. Individual salary setting.
