Svensk Budservice in Halmstad will take over dairy distribution in large parts of Skåne on November 2nd, and for this reason we are looking for two Traffic Controllers who want to be part of launching our operations in Skåne and manage the flow in a business where pace, responsibility, and job satisfaction go hand in hand.

About the role

As a Traffic Controller at Svensk Budservice, you are the hub of our daily operations. You plan, coordinate, and optimize transports – always with a focus on high quality, on-time deliveries, and satisfied drivers and customers.

You work closely with colleagues and drivers, handle rapid changes, and solve everyday logistics puzzles with both structure and finesse.

We have traffic around the clock, but the position is primarily during daytime. On-call duties are included and shared among colleagues to ensure stable and functioning operations outside office hours.

Your main areas of responsibility

• Plan and optimize transports so that bookings are picked up and delivered on time
• Maintain ongoing and close contact with both drivers and customers
• Ensure efficient use of our vehicle fleet and vehicle planning
• Proactively handle changes, deviations, and urgent situations
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of flows, routines, and working methods
• Approve times and schedules
• Step in and drive when needed

Who are you?

You have experience from the transport industry – perhaps as a traffic controller, transport planner, or driver – and feel that you want to take the next step and work more strategically with traffic management.

You are:

• Communicative and confident – you build trust in dialogue with others

You are computer literate, accustomed to working in various systems (incl. Office), are proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and have good local knowledge. A CE driver's license is meritorious as you may need to step in and drive during crises.

Location: Lomma

Team: Two traffic controllers in Lomma and two in Halmstad who collaborate.

Working hours: Primarily daytime, on-call duties included
