Background

After 20 years of right-wing majorities in the Swedish Parliament, and four years with a right-wing government that has prioritized tax cuts for the rich at the expense of ordinary people, Sweden needs a new government that stands on the people's side and has the will to change. On September 13, Sweden goes to the polls, and we are now mobilizing the left with the aim of achieving a change of government in 2026. Therefore, we are looking for people who want to work as paid telemarketers in our telephone campaign.

About the role

The Left Party in Västerbotten works to support and coordinate the party's local associations in Västerbotten. During the period from August 17 to September 13, we are running a call center in Umeå with the task of encouraging, reminding, and motivating voters in the north to vote for a Sweden where people's need for social and economic security is at the center and where the green transition is prioritized.

You do not need to know all our politics to work for us. On August 13, all employees will undergo mandatory training where they will receive the information that needs to be conveyed.

The working hours will be 3–5 afternoons per week, mostly on weekdays but with some holidays included. Applicants are expected to be able to work most of these shifts.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who

• sympathizes with us and our politics
• can work approximately 15–20 hours per week during the campaign period 17/8–13/9
• can attend the training session on August 13
• is confident speaking on the phone
• can work on-site at our call center in Umeå.
