We are now seeking Grounds Maintenance Workers for the Coast and Green Areas unit, focusing on the coastal side.

Job Responsibilities

As a Grounds Maintenance Worker within our Coast and Green Areas unit, you will primarily work with the maintenance of municipal bathing areas. Common tasks include, for example, casting, painting, plumbing, green area maintenance, and other types of repair and maintenance work. Other side assignments may also arise, such as the operation of dredging systems.

The role also involves an active part in developing new maintenance plans and providing development suggestions.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have at least a high school education, and preferably experience in similar work. We see general practical skills as a prerequisite for performing the job in the best possible way. Some technical competence is also desirable.

The position may involve some sea work, and therefore a valid medical certificate for seafarers may be required.

As a person, you need to be structured with a good ability to plan your day. You will primarily work in a group but sometimes also independently. For us, it is important that we help each other, both within the unit and the operation, and therefore we see it as a given that you, as an employee, want to share your experiences and knowledge with your colleagues.

We will place great emphasis on personal qualities where the willingness to develop and collaborate is in focus.

For this position, we require a BE driving license. If you do not have the E-permission, it must be obtained within a fixed-term appointment of 6 months.
