We are recruiting a truck driver with a crane (HIAB driver) for our client for work on a large project in Boden, Sweden.
EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS
Workplace: Boden, Sweden
Start: As soon as possible
Project duration: At least 6 months
Working hours: Full-time
Housing: Provided by the client
Tax-free allowances: Swedish per diem of 300 SEK/day, reduced to 235 SEK/day after three months.
JOB DESCRIPTION – HIAB DRIVER
You will perform a wide range of lifting operations on a large industrial construction site. The largest cranes you will work with have a lifting capacity of 165 ton-meters (T/m) and consist mainly of Fassi and Palfinger cranes.
The tasks include, among others:
- Standard transport and material handling lifts
- More advanced and precision-demanding lifting and assembly work
- Planning lifts in collaboration with other professional groups
- Close cooperation with fitters, lift supervisors, and site management
- Adapt to changing conditions on site and work safely and efficiently
- Safe loading and unloading
- Handling of lifting gear, slinging, and lifting equipment
This is more than just driving a crane – you need to understand the entire lifting process and be able to work safely and professionally alongside others on site.
REQUIREMENTS
- Category C driving license (Category CE is an advantage)
- Valid crane operator certificate
- Valid digital tachograph card
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU IF:
- You have experience driving a truck with a crane (HIAB)
- You have good knowledge of occupational health and safety
- You are responsible, self-motivated, and proactive
- You possess the necessary certificates and qualifications for the role
- You have prior experience with mobile cranes or other vehicle-mounted cranes (an advantage)
MORE INFORMATION
The project in Boden has recently received new funding, and the site is currently being established.
Since the project is not yet fully operational, the initial working hours will be:
- Monday to Friday
- 8 hours per day
Once the project is in full swing, the schedule will shift to a more traditional rotation pattern typical for industrial projects:
- Monday to Saturday
- 10 hours per day
- Two weeks on followed by one week off
