JOB DESCRIPTION – HIAB DRIVER

You will perform a wide range of lifting operations on a large industrial construction site. The largest cranes you will work with have a lifting capacity of 165 ton-meters (T/m) and consist mainly of Fassi and Palfinger cranes.

The tasks include, among others:

  • Standard transport and material handling lifts
  • More advanced and precision-demanding lifting and assembly work
  • Planning lifts in collaboration with other professional groups
  • Close cooperation with fitters, lift supervisors, and site management
  • Adapt to changing conditions on site and work safely and efficiently
  • Safe loading and unloading
  • Handling of lifting gear, slinging, and lifting equipment

This is more than just driving a crane – you need to understand the entire lifting process and be able to work safely and professionally alongside others on site.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Category C driving license (Category CE is an advantage)
  • Valid crane operator certificate
  • Valid digital tachograph card

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU IF:

  • You have experience driving a truck with a crane (HIAB)
  • You have good knowledge of occupational health and safety
  • You are responsible, self-motivated, and proactive
  • You possess the necessary certificates and qualifications for the role
  • You have prior experience with mobile cranes or other vehicle-mounted cranes (an advantage)

MORE INFORMATION

Since the project is not yet fully operational, the initial working hours will be:

Once the project is in full swing, the schedule will shift to a more traditional rotation pattern typical for industrial projects:

  • Monday to Saturday

  • Two weeks on followed by one week off

This is an excellent opportunity for those who want to participate in a long-term project in a demanding and exciting industrial environment.
