About the position

Montico/Oplana and W5 Solutions have entered into a collaboration to find and develop the right competence for production in Älmhult. We are now looking for people with the right attitude, precision, and technical interest who want to train as Electronics Assemblers.

For selected candidates, the journey begins with a four-week paid training. After completing the training, the next step is employment via temporary staffing through Oplana. The ambition is that this, after up to 12 months of temporary staffing, will lead to direct employment at W5 Solutions, provided everything goes well and both parties wish to proceed.

The training will take place during the following weeks:

  • Week 36 – Stockholm
  • Week 37 – Älmhult
  • Week 38 – Stockholm
  • Week 39 – Älmhult

Job Description

As an Electronics Assembler, you work with the assembly and compilation of electronic products and cabling according to work instructions, drawings, and quality requirements. You become an important part of the production and contribute to high quality, delivery security, and continuous improvements in daily work.

We are looking for you who:

  • Live in Älmhult or the surrounding area.
  • Have a technical interest and want to develop within electronics production.
  • Can read and understand work instructions.
  • Have good ability to work carefully, even with small components.
  • Have good computer skills for documentation and reporting.
  • Are responsible, structured, and quality-conscious.
  • Enjoy practical work and collaborating with others.
  • Want to learn new things and look long-term at your next opportunity.

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Upper secondary education in electricity, energy, industry, technology, or equivalent.
  • Training in electronics production or soldering technology.
  • Knowledge of or certification in IPC standards.
  • Experience in assembly work within industry or production.
  • Experience in electronics assembly, cable manufacturing, or soldering.
  • Knowledge in reading drawings.
  • Experience in quality control, deviation management, troubleshooting, or post-processing.
