Do you want to contribute to a more sustainable environment by planning and coordinating efficient transports? We are now looking for a Transport Manager for the transport management in Mölndal!

As a Transport Manager at REMONDIS, you will have a role with significant responsibility. Together with your team, you will work on environmentally efficient transport solutions to create sustainable and long-term customer relationships and results.

Our transport unit in Mölndal is part of Region West, where we collect and handle various types of waste for recycling. The fleet consists of about 60 vehicles, including rear-loading compactors, swap body vehicles, vans, and lift-dumpers. In this role, we are looking for a Transport Manager with a focus on rear-loading vehicles. At the unit, skilled environmental workers with extensive experience contribute daily to a sustainable future.

In the role of Transport Manager, you are responsible for the daily operations of the transports and report to the Operations Manager.

The role includes, among other things:

• Plan and direct vehicles and distribute assignments to environmental workers.
• Ensure that assignments are carried out and handled correctly in T5.
• Ensure that necessary transport documents are available for the drivers.
• Review invoices for accuracy.
• Participate in goal setting and follow-up of the vehicle type's goals.
• Support in specific customer cases.
• Be responsible for customer dialogue in connection with execution.
• Handle deviations and customer complaints.
• Ensure that customers' deliveries are handled according to current routines.
• Other recurring tasks delegated by the nearest manager.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Very good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Completed upper secondary education.

Merits:

• Experience in transport management, logistics support, contracting, or similar.
• Transport management education and/or experience with heavy vehicles.

What we offer and practical details:

• Location: Mölndal.
• Scope: Full-time. Fixed-term contract for 1 year, with a chance of extension.
• Working hours: 06:00–15:00.
• Start date: As agreed.
