Your daily life as a Transport Manager

As a Transport Manager at REMONDIS, you will have a role with significant responsibility. Together with your team, you will work on environmentally efficient transport solutions to build sustainable and long-term customer relationships and results.

Our transport unit in Mölndal is part of Region West, where we collect and handle various types of waste for recycling. Our fleet consists of approximately 60 vehicles, including rear-loading compactors, swap body vehicles, vans, and lift-dumpers. In this role, we are looking for a Transport Manager with a focus on container trucks. Our unit is staffed by skilled environmental workers with extensive experience who contribute daily to a sustainable future.

As Transport Manager, you are responsible for the daily operations of the transports and report to the Operations Manager.

The role includes, among other things:

• Planning and directing vehicles, as well as distributing tasks to environmental workers
• Ensuring tasks are executed and handled correctly in T5
• Ensuring that necessary transport documents are available for drivers
• Checking invoices for accuracy
• Participating in goal-setting and monitoring targets for the vehicle category
• Supporting in specific customer cases
• Responsible for customer dialogue in connection with execution
• Handling deviations, weighbridge tickets, and customer complaints
• Ensuring customer deliveries are handled according to current procedures
• Other occasional tasks delegated by the immediate supervisor

We are looking for someone with:

• Very good communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbal and written
• Completed upper secondary education

Meritorious qualifications

• Experience in transport management, logistics support, contracting, or similar
• If you have transport management training and/or experience with heavy vehicles
