Night Transport Manager at Jale AB

About the Role

As a Transport Manager, you are responsible for planning and allocating personnel, vehicles, and cargo, primarily for COOP. You ensure that our transports are carried out efficiently and according to customer needs, while maintaining daily contact with drivers, customers, and colleagues.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Planning and allocation of personnel, vehicles, and cargo
• Ensuring efficient transport solutions based on customer commitments, economics, and load capacity
• Coordinating loading and unloading
• Ongoing contact with drivers, customers, and colleagues
• Handling deviations and providing quick solutions when conditions change
• Vehicle marshalling
• Occasional driving duties and/or picking up drivers

This is a permanent full-time position with an immediate start. We place great importance on providing you with a good introduction and a secure start with us.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Experience from the transport industry
• CE driver's license
• Valid Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC/YKB)
• Good computer skills
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• ADR Basic Certificate
• Forklift license A and B

Merits

• Experience with cold and frozen transport
• Experience with the systems Opter and TransPA

Employment Conditions

• Working hours: Night shift (3 days/week)
• Schedule: Monday–Sunday, including public holidays
• Start date: As agreed
• We apply a 6-month probation period
