Are you an experienced assistant nurse with an interest in quality development and supervision? We are now looking for you with good knowledge and experience in elderly care who wants to take extra responsibility for supervision, quality, and onboarding in our operations. Here you will have a central role in contributing to good care and support through a person-centered approach, where every citizen's needs and wishes are in focus. By working closely with both colleagues and management, you create security, participation, and development – for both citizens and your colleagues.
Fältvägen is a special housing facility located in Torvalla. It is one of the municipality's most modern facilities, featuring single-story living with large, practical apartments and beautiful inner courtyards. The facility has 5 departments with 7 residents on each department. The staff currently consists of assistant nurses, care assistants, coordinators, and a unit manager. We develop and work with digital technology in our operations to facilitate work for staff and improve care quality for citizens. We have close collaboration both within and between our different departments.
The position is full-time (100%) and working hours are during daytime, weekdays. You are part of the work team but will have time to perform tasks related to your job description. Your placement is at the unit where you are employed, but if necessary, your placement can be moved.
Your new job
As an assistant nurse with advanced competence, you are an important part of developing both nursing care and your colleagues. You work closely with the unit manager, coordinators, and various coordinators (ombud) and have a key role in supporting and guiding staff in their daily work. This includes, among other things, supervising colleagues in basic nursing care, rehabilitative working methods, and documentation, as well as ensuring that routines are followed. You participate in case meetings, disseminate information throughout the operation, and support coordinator roles such as meal, activity, language, and documentation coordinators.
Another important part is that you are responsible for the onboarding of new employees and receiving new citizens, where you help create a holistic view of needs and begin implementation plans. The role combines practical work with responsibility for supervision, quality, and development, making it both varied and meaningful.
Your competence
Requirements
- Educated as an assistant nurse
- At least 3 years of work experience as an assistant nurse
- Good knowledge of geriatric diseases and nursing care
- Good knowledge of supervision
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both oral and written
- Good computer skills

We are looking for you
We are looking for you with very good knowledge in all parts of the assistant nurse's work, as you are expected to be a knowledge resource for your colleagues. You are loyal to the organization and act in accordance with decisions, guidelines, the operation plan, set goals, and policies. In the role, you are meticulous and well aware of the operation's goals and quality standards, and you are happy to take individual initiatives within the scope of the assignment.
As a supervisor, you have a pedagogical aptitude where you adapt your way of communicating to the person you are training. Your communication is clear, and you are careful to ensure that the recipient understands what you want to convey. You remind and follow up to ensure good quality in care work. The role requires good cooperation skills where you relate to people in a sensitive and smooth manner.
Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
