About the job

We are now looking for two transport managers to strengthen our team in Borås.

Responsibilities

As a transport manager, you are responsible for the daily operations regarding the collection and transport of household waste and recyclable materials. The role is both operational and administrative, with a strong focus on planning, follow-up, and leadership. You work closely with the drivers, serve as the contact person for customers and internally, and collaborate with the occupational safety coordinator on personnel and workplace safety issues. The work is carried out in a team with two other transport managers and an operations manager.

• Responsible for planning and leading daily operations within a team of operations managers and transport managers.
• Administrative tasks, such as time attestation, order management, workshop bookings, and workplace safety matters.
• You are the contact person for our clients to ensure that drivers deliver service and high quality.

About you

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is positive, creative, good at finding solutions, and highly engaged. We believe you have previous experience in team leadership and personnel management. Relevant education is preferred but not required. Experience driving garbage trucks, a Class C driver's license, and YKB certification are meritorious. You are computer literate, detail-oriented, and accustomed to making quick decisions as the work can vary from day to day.

We are primarily looking for a humble team player who can take on a leadership role and is clear but fair in their leadership style.
