Police Region North is the largest region by area. The region consists of the four northernmost counties in Sweden and is organized into four police districts: Jämtland, Norrbotten, Västerbotten, and Västernorrland, which together are divided into 12 local police districts. Additionally, there are three regional units: the operational unit, the intelligence unit, and the investigation unit, a regional office, and national departments represented in the region to support police operations.
The Jämtland Police District is one of the districts within Police Region North. The geographical area covers eight municipalities. The Jämtland Police District is divided into two local police districts: Östersund and Jämtland/Härjedalen. At the district level, there is an investigation section and a district office.
The Östersund Local Police District is part of the Jämtland Police District. Within the local district, there are intervention and crime prevention activities, investigation groups, as well as support and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Manager for Crime Prevention and Intervention (BF-IGV), you report to the Local Police District Chief and are part of the Östersund LPD Management Group. Together, you are responsible for ensuring tasks are carried out and driving the agency's change and development work. You have specific responsibility for the BF/IGV operations and their results. As a group manager, you represent the entire Swedish Police Authority both internally and externally and work to strengthen trust in police operations.

QUALIFICATIONS
This is an opportunity for you if you have:
- At least 6 months of continuous experience working as a team leader, project manager, or similar.
- Experience participating in change and development work.
- Experience in crime prevention and intervention operations.
- A police degree according to Ordinance (2014:1105) on education for police officers.
We consider it meritorious if you additionally have:
- Experience leading others towards set goals and results.
- Participation in management forums.
- Management and leadership training for direct, indirect, and/or strategic levels.
- Other relevant education for the function, such as basic management, operational management, or EFP training (Search for Missing Persons).
- Experience participating in/driving collaboration with societal actors outside the police organization/own organization.
