About the role

As an operations technician at our client, you are responsible for the operation and maintenance of district heating facilities as well as customer service. You work in a cohesive team and handle technical challenges to maintain high delivery quality.

In the role, you manage the daily operation of solid fuel facilities in Storvik and Järbo, analyze disturbances, and propose preventive measures. The work includes planning, prioritizing, and following up on cases together with supervisors, as well as on-call duty covering production, distribution, and customer facilities.

Since our client works with security-classified assignments, a certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) will be requested before employment.

Responsibilities

In the role of operations technician, you will work with the operation, maintenance, monitoring, and optimization of heating plants. Furthermore, you will perform service and fault resolution at customer sites. The tasks are varied but include mechanical maintenance, digital monitoring, and on-call duty.

You will work with, among other things:

• Check and optimize the performance of district heating boilers.
• Perform rounds and preventive mechanical maintenance.
• Address operational disturbances and alarms from distribution facilities.
• Conduct customer service and fault resolution at customer sites.
• Replace energy meters and regulate equipment.
• Participate in scheduled on-call duty.

We are looking for you who

• Have a post-secondary technical education in operations technology or HVAC, or alternative work experience that we consider equivalent.
• Are fluent in Swedish in both speech and writing, as the tasks require it.
• Hold a valid B-driver's license.

It is an advantage if you have

• Previous work experience in the operation and maintenance of power and heat technology.
• A valid boiler operator certificate.
