The role of electrician at Folksol

As an electrician at Folksol, you work with modern energy solutions primarily for private individuals but also for businesses around Greater Stockholm and Uppsala. You work independently in the field with support from coordinators and project managers, and have significant freedom to plan your workday. You depart from home with a service vehicle and manage planning and assignments via the company app.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

  • Installation and commissioning of inverters for solar power systems
  • Installation of battery storage
  • Installation of charging stations
  • Troubleshooting, cable laying, and work in meter cabinets
  • Service and after-sales work as needed
  • Ongoing customer contact; you are the face of Folksol.
  • Technical advice to customers regarding energy solutions as needed

Your qualifications as an electrician

  • At least first-year installer with 1–2 years of experience in electrical work.
  • Electrician education at the upper secondary level (ECY or equivalent).
  • Valid driver's license (Category B).
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Merits:

  • Experience with solar cells, battery solutions, and/or charging stations.
  • Previous work involving customer contact or sales.
  • Experience with independent installations.

Folksol operates in Greater Stockholm and Uppsala with an office in Täby. The customer base consists of approximately 50% private customers and 50% B2B. The core business is inverters and battery solutions, with a strong focus on quality, precise installations, and long-term energy solutions.
