Linguista is a unit within AcadeMedia offering various language services, both remotely and on-site. Our services include mother tongue instruction, study guidance, and modern language teaching.

We primarily work with primary and secondary schools, as well as adult education, tailored to students' diverse needs.

Linguista operates in Stockholm and Gothenburg. Your responsibilities will include:

Qualifications

We view language instruction as a crucial part of student development and goal achievement. Therefore, a qualitative, language-developing approach is highly prioritized. We expect you to have a holistic view of student learning and be eager to develop professionally with us. A teacher education with eligibility in the relevant language is advantageous.

Job Duties

The role involves teaching at the primary or secondary school level, conducted remotely. The assignment includes planning, implementation, and evaluation of teaching in accordance with the national curriculum. As a pedagog, it is important to adapt teaching to students' needs and support their knowledge development.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has:

• Eligibility to teach in the relevant language.
• A teacher education or an equivalent academic education with a pedagogical focus.
• Experience as a teacher and experience with remote teaching, along with very good computer skills (e.g., G Suite or similar digital environments).
• A formative approach, interest in pedagogical development, and varied pedagogical aptitude.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

We adhere to the collective agreement between Almega Educational Companies/Service Unions and the trade unions Unionen/SI.

Personal suitability is highly valued. Only eligible teachers can be offered permanent employment.

The position is subject to continued need. The employment may be terminated in case of redundancy.
