The Child and Education Administration works on behalf of the Preschool Committee and the Primary and Secondary School Committee. About the Job

This is a permanent full-time position starting on August 10, 2026. As a teacher in Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and other subjects, you will teach grades 7, 8, and 9. The position includes shared mentorship with a colleague. You will plan, implement, and evaluate teaching based on the curriculum, as well as follow up, assess, grade, and document students' knowledge development. You will be part of both a working group and a subject group, offering good opportunities for collaboration and collegial learning. In this role, you are expected to create a secure and stimulating learning environment for our students. You are responsible for planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of your teaching. You have good digital competence and view Vklass, Teams, and Google Classroom as natural tools in your work and communication. You have subject colleagues and meet in subject groups, which provides good opportunities for collaboration. You will also be part of a working group, where you work together on students and teaching in a specific grade level, to best meet students' needs and help them develop both academically and socially.

About You

You are a qualified teacher with eligibility to teach Mathematics and Natural Sciences for grades 7–9, and preferably another subject. You have previous experience teaching at the lower secondary level and are well-versed in the Swedish compulsory school's regulatory documents. You see documentation and assessment as a natural part of your work. You are a positive and competent pedagogue with a strong commitment to student development. You are flexible and creative, with teaching that stimulates students' curiosity and desire to learn. You view relationships as your primary pedagogical tool and have an easy time building good relationships and collaborating with students, guardians, and colleagues. In your pedagogical leadership, you are a clear leader, and in the classroom, you have the ability to create a work environment characterized by security, trust, and respect. You have high competence in meeting students based on their conditions and needs.
