We are now looking for a colleague for our gas loading operations at St1 Refinery in Gothenburg. The position becomes vacant as one of our employees is retiring, and we are therefore looking for you who want to take over an important function in our operations and develop together with us.
About the role
As a depot technician with us, you will become part of a team of six technicians with joint responsibility for operational activities in the refinery's tank farms and surrounding areas.
The role is varied and combines practical work with coordination and responsibility. You work close to the operations and contribute to the safe, efficient, and high-quality handling of our products – an important part of St1's production chain.
Main responsibilities:
- Loading railway wagons with LPG
- Shunting and marshalling
- Train and support external tanker truck drivers
- Handle work permits
- Conduct rounds within the area of responsibility
- Drain tanks and bunds
- Troubleshoot and rectify operation-related deviations
Your profile
We are looking for you who have a practical and technical understanding. This can come from education, but equally from experience – for example within:
- industry or process
- workshop or mechanics
- warehouse, logistics or transport
- work as an operations technician, maintenance technician, service technician, industrial mechanic, shunter or tanker truck driver
- Previous experience from the process or transport industry is an advantage, but not a requirement.
Furthermore, we see that you:
- Have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing
- Have a B driver's license, as well as a health examination to meet the Swedish Transport Agency's requirements regarding shunting service (we cover this examination).
Personal qualities
At St1, we value not only what you do but how you do it. Therefore, we see that you have good planning and prioritization skills and can work independently and structured. In the role of depot technician, you need to be technically competent, meticulous, and communicative.
Furthermore, we consider it important that you are good at collaborating and like to see practical solutions to various problems. We believe in continuous development and challenging old truths. Therefore, we see that you need to thrive in a changing environment where you are also expected to be part of continuously improving and optimizing our work. Since our work environment requires active HSM work (health, safety, environment), we also see that you are a responsible person who has a great understanding of this in daily work.
What do we offer you?
